Today's lesson is about the Spanish greetings, farewells, and phrases that are used in the Spanish speaking world: Los Saludos en Español.


Hola: hello

 Buenos días: good morning

 Buenas tardes: good afternoon

 Buenas noches: good evening

 ¡Qué tal! : what's up!

 ¿Cómo estás? : how are you?

 ¿Cómo te va? : how is it going? 

 Bien, gracias: I'm fine, thank you

 Más o menos: so so / more or less

 Y tú? : What about you? / and you?

 Mucho gusto: nice to meet you

 Es un placer: it's a pleasure

 Lo siento: I'm sorry

 Por favor: I'm sorry

 ¡Adiós! : good bye!

 ¡Nos vemos! : see you!

 ¡Cuídate! : take care!

 ¡Gracias! : thank you!

 ¡Muchas gracias! : thank you very much!

 ¡De nada! : you're welcome!

Today's lesson is about Spanish Subject Pronouns. La lección de hoy trata sobre los pronombres personales en español. A subject pronoun is a word   that takes the place of a noun as the subject of a sentence. For the plural pronouns, if the group referred to is all male, use the masculine ending: nosotros / ellos. If it is a mix of male and female, use the masculine ending too: nosotros / ellos If it is all female, use the feminine ending: nosotras / ellas. Juan, Pedro y Ana escuchan música. Today we are going to learn how to make Spanish nouns plural. Just as in English, in Spanish there are nouns that name one thing (singular nouns), and nouns that name more than one thing (plural nouns) To make a singular noun plural, all you need to do is to look at the last letter in the word. Why? Because, Spanish singular to plural are formed by adding specific ends to the nouns. So, in this lesson you will find the basic rules for making nouns plural in Spanish. If the word ends in a vowel (a,e,i,o,u), just add the letter "s" at the end of the word. For nouns that end in these specific stressed vowels: í and ú we may add both "es" or "s" If the word ends in a consonant we must add "es" at the end of the word to make it plural. Today we are going to learn the differences between the Spanish Verbs: Ser and Estar. In Spanish, there are  two words equivalent to the English verb ‘to be’: ‘ ser ’ and ‘ estar ’. First let's see the conjugation of the verbs SER and ESTAR in the present Tense: Ser comes from the Latin word ‘esse’ which is the same root word for the English word ‘essence’. In Spanish, nouns are often accompanied by articles.
